Hebron Housing Providers mentioned it has received funding to make big money enhancements to its 3 shelters in Waukesha.

The planed projects include a comprehensive kitchen area and bathroom renovation, updates in bedrooms and prevalent locations, and an HVAC overhaul throughout its services.

Hebron operates Juno House, an crisis shelter at 812 N. East Ave. that serves one females, women of all ages with youngsters, and family members Siena House, a shelter at 1519 Summit Ave. that serves solitary adult males and Jeremy Household Safe and sound Haven, a shelter at 1301 E. Moreland Blvd. that serves grownup gentlemen and women of all ages.

The group has received funding from the Waukesha County Local community Improvement Block Grant, the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Advancement Authority and personal donors for the $150,000 job.

“Our shelters have served as safe and sound, warm havens to thousands of families and people today, and we want to make guaranteed they stand reliable for decades to come,” claimed executive director Maureen Atwell.

Hebron said the jobs will be a memorial to the organization’s founder, Bernie Juno, who died final 12 months at 75.
