3 questions with Devin Meenan, founder of Traditional Connecticut Homes.
Why did you get started your company?
Even before I started out Vintage Connecticut Properties, functioning in the building and house renovation small business had been a lifelong desire of mine. Escalating up, when I’d ride my bike through my neighborhood, it was the previous historic homes on the block that often caught my eye the most. This experience still left me with both of those an desire in architecture and a wish to make matters. A stint functioning in software program designed me get pleasure from the creative method and gave me the ability to properly collaborate to constructive ends – this experience designed the urge to soar to architecture even more robust. When my ordeals in the homeowner’s marketplace designed me informed that there was an option to present a consumer-centric buyer working experience, I started Traditional Connecticut Houses in 1998.
What is your best marketing solution/support?
At the second, the work finished by Common Connecticut Residences has been skewed in the direction of interior renovations, significantly kitchens. However, our sweet place is full residence renovations, within and out. Our intention with any venture we undertake is to do the job with our clientele to construct a home for them that’s as pleasurable to seem at as it is to live in. To do so, we utilize generally classical architectural detailing. Hence, our title – Typical Connecticut Homes.
How several community firms do you use to guidance your small business (products and solutions) and can you title them?
We have the good fortune of doing work with a range of local craftsmen – collaboration is crucial at Traditional Connecticut Houses, and we accept our work wouldn’t be probable devoid of the services and supplies of these craftsmen.
Some of our community partners include:
– Brad DeMotte of DeMotte Architects
– Rick Johnston of Johnston Woodworks
